Welcome to the Confluence Fund

Rocky Mountains

The Confluence Fund seeks to be a catalyst for innovative conservation solutions benefiting people, wildlife, and wild landscapes.  Our geographic focus includes the Rocky Mountains of Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Alberta, and British Columbia, commonly considered to be the Yellowstone to Yukon ecoregion.

LATEST NEWS:  One of The Confluence Fund's grantees for 2010 - Wildsight - recently achieved a major milestone when the government of British Columbia announced that it would permanently withdraw its portion of the North Fork Flathead River watershed from all new mining and oil and gas drilling. Shortly after that announcement, Montana Senators Max Baucus and Jon Tester introduced a bill to withdraw the U.S. portion of the North Fork watershed from all mining and oil and gas drilling. That bill, S. 3075, is now pending in Congress. To learn more, click on the following articles from the Missoulian: M1; M2; M3
